Joining AWL means joining a community of women lawyers who are committed to using the law as a force for equality and justice. It means access to our events, our networks, and our advocacy work. It means adding your voice to a movement that has been shaping the legal landscape in Malaysia for more than four decades.​

 

We welcome women lawyers and law graduates at all stages of their careers.

Who Can Join​

​

• Malaysian women who are Advocates and Solicitors of the Malaysian Bar

• Malaysian women who are law graduates

• Malaysian women in legally adjacent roles in the public sector, civil society, or corporate sphere

• Malaysian women who are law students (Associate Membership only)

 

Membership Benefits​

• Access to AWL events, including the biennial Women Lawyers Conference, at member rates

• Membership of AWL's professional and social network

• Regular newsletters and updates on AWL's advocacy and other work

• Opportunities to participate in AWL committees

• Opportunities to engage with a variety of local and international projects related to the empowerment of women generally, and women in law specifically

• A voice in AWL's Annual General Meeting and organisational direction

 

Membership Fees

• Registration Fee for Ordinary / Associate Members: RM10.00 (one-off fee)

• Annual Subscription Fee for Ordinary Members: RM50.00

• Annual Subscription Fee for Associate Members: RM30.00

To make payment, please transfer the total fee payable to our Maybank Account No. 5142 5352 4382
