She spent her first twelve years in general litigation before moving into corporate work, eventually serving as Head of the Corporate Division and Senior Partner before retiring in December 2009. She became a Consultant at Skrine in January 2010.

Throughout her career, she was actively involved in Malaysian Bar committees and working groups, particularly on issues of professional standards, the admission of foreign lawyers, and the introduction of limited liability partnerships in Malaysia.
